The food is still amazing. Service is not bad (especially if you speak mandarin). Prices have gone up over the years, but still cheap in comparison to the quality and quantity. This is my favorite place for the Shanghai Pan Fried Bao ($13.65). It is always served piping hot, flavorful, and juicy. It is not cheap by any means, but their bao's are filling and delicious. I also really like to pick and choose the side dishes they offer each time I come in. Their portions are huge and I always have leftovers. I wish I lived closer so that I can come here more often.

Everyone orders the sheng jian baos (a must), so it took us 30 minutes to get our food. Pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon. + Shang Hai Pan Fried Bun: ($13.65 for 8): a must get, the best in town. Super juicy, savory, and crispy bottom (9.5/10) + Beef Roll ($13.24): more of a crepe, chewy skin compared to the crispy skin at other places. Overall flavor is more savory and less of the hoisin-sweetness (7.8/10) + Pork and Celery Wonton ($12.74 for 9): pretty big! Comes with the soup on the side (7.9/10)

Only place that servces large portions of noodle Soups you can find in taiwan. They have the thin noodle soup with oysters and intestine but I don't eat oysters and only order the intestine, you have to eat it there because the noodles soak into the soup and won't be edible at home. The pan fried shanghai baos are a must ! They have a good selection of entrees ready if you want to order from that section. I usually get the chicken curry with rice and the steamed egg pork. Service is quick and casual Ambiance with tables and booths.
